Hans Raj Hans
A name synonymous with Punjabi folklore and Sufi songs, Hans Raj Hans is as Punjabi by nature as his songs - donning a beard and long curly hair, he is the epitome of the rural Punjab village youth. Guru Ustad Puran Shahkoti Sahib, his guru who trained him, bestowed his surname ‘Hans’ on him. He is the Punjabi folk singer with his own style. He has performed all over the world, in places like, USA, Canada, Europe, Middle East and many more countries. Success has not changed Hans Raj Hans. He is still a down-to-earth Sufi singer who has carved a niche for himself amongst the great singing icons of Punjab. Hans Raj Hans was honoured with the best male singer award for ‘Dil chori sada ho gaya’.
Mika Singh
Mika, born as Amrik Singh on June 10, 1977, in Durgapur, West Bengal is a bhangra / rap Indian singer. He is considered to be highly acclaimed Punjabi singer. He has done many film songs which include singh is kinng, mauja hi mauja,guitar. He has also participated in reality show called iss jungle se mujhe bachao and Music Ka MahaMuqabala. He is also in media due to various controversies.
Shaan
This is indeed a very big leap in the career of the super singer Shan. After proving his front with varied antics in Bollywood play backing and also for many musical albums, Shaan is heading westward! He has lent his voice for a music video specially shot for the Hollywood film ‘The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe’. It is a very great achievement to be roped in a Hollywood project to sing. Also this is for the first time in India that a singer has lent his voice for a soundtrack of a Hollywood film.
He will render the song and will also feature in the music video, combined with the clips from the film. The dotted track is ‘Shuruaat’ from his album ‘Tishnagi’. The song will be put in the music video to promote the film. Shaan is very eager with the whole proceedings and feels that it is a great start for him. He also feels very honored to be a part of the project.
The song is tuned such that it’ll appeal of people of all ages and race. So as the song has a universal appeal, it fits the bill perfectly. Telling more about the music video he says, “We will be recreating the set as per the film with pine trees, statues of frozen soldiers, et al. I will be wearing a beige trench coat with a little fur collar, dark green pull over, corduroy pants matching the T-shirt as well as accessories like ring, pendant, etc."

Pankaj Udhas
Pankaj Udhas is a pre-eminent Ghazal singer from India. He is credited with bringing this unique singing style where Urdu verses of poets are set to music to the mass audience across the country along with other musicians like Jagjit Singh and Talat Aziz.
Pankaj Udhas was born on 17 April 1951 in Savarkundla in the Gujarat State in India. His older brother Manhar Udhas achieved some success as a Hindi playback singer in Bollywood movies.He had sudied in Sir BPTI Bhavanagar. His family moved to Bombay and Pankaj attended St. Xavier’s College in Bombay, Pankaj was first noticed as a professional singer in the film Naam (1986 film), in which his song Chitthi Aayee Hai became an instant hit. He recorded several albums since then and toured the world as an accomplished Ghazal singer. He has also composed music for many films and performed as a playback singer for others.
He received the Padma Shri, a Government of India civilian award in 2006.

Alka Yagnik

singer. She is born into a Gujarati family. Both her parents were well
versed in classical music.
She is classically trained, and has been one of the leading playback
singers in Bollywood since the late 1980’s. Alka began singing bhajans
for Calcutta Radio at the age of six. She thought singing as a hobby
but later thought about it as a profession. She came to Mumbai and
sang for the film Laawaris (1981) with the song Mere Angene Mein. She
got her big break with the song Ek Do Teen from the film Tezaab
(1988). The song turned her into a star overnight and went on to
become a pop hit. She also received her first Filmfare Best Female
Playback Award for the song.
Her voice has mostly been used for the younger generation of stars.
She has done the playback singing for some of the biggest stars in the
industry. Alka also sings for other languages like Marathi, Bengali
and Punjabi.
